Life looks a little different right now. But our biggest priorities are the same – the safety of our Residents, our Buildings, and continuing to help our Community’s thrive.

Co-Living Community Cleanliness

The cleanliness of our communities has always been, and will continue to be a top priority. Our professional housekeeping team continues to clean each of our co-living communities no less than five (5) days each week. This includes thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing common areas, amenity spaces, bathrooms, and high touch-point areas, following the guidelines and recommendations of the CDC. Additionally, your Community Management Team will supplement with ‘in between’ cleanings. Residents are also responsible for cleaning up after themselves.

Assigned Individual Bathrooms

To limit germ sharing potential, we implemented assignment of private bathrooms to Residents for additional peace of mind. This means, only a small handful of Residents are utilizing one bathroom, and you’ll always know who you share a bathroom with. Our Resident to Bathroom ratio continues to be more favorable in our Co-Living Communities than your typical 2-Bedroom, 1-Bathroom apartment.

Kitchen Rotation Schedule

Each Community has a Kitchen rotation schedule that is set and agreed upon by all Residents upon move-in. A set number of Residents will be able to use it at any given time. Each Resident will clean up after themselves, and will leave it in as good, or better, condition than they found it. 

Maintenance & Work Orders

We will prioritize emergency and life safety work orders. For the safety of our Residents and our Team, we may postpone non-emergency work orders, and will thereby limit accessing bedrooms and apartment units until after Shelter in Place mandates are lifted. Our Team will thoroughly wash hands before and after entering units, and will wear masks and gloves. 

Continually Stocked Supplies

We’ll continue to provide all the necessary cleaning, laundry, dish washing and paper products. We’ve also installed hand sanitizer stations in all ‘high-traffic’ and points of entry around every property. Our Teams help with the supply ordering and the restocking, so you’ll never have to think about who last bought toilet paper. Missing anything? Simply put in a request to your dedicated Community Manager. 

Living Among Fellow Good Humans

We’ll provide all the tools for success, and will empower our Residents to take care of themselves by helping take care of others within the Community. All Residents are expected to use good judgement, safe practices and generally be a good housemate. Your dedicated, Community Manager, in addition to our Property Management Team will always be there for support, as well. 

Leasing & Marketing Tours

For the safety & well-being of our current and future Residents, we’ve enabled virtual, 3D and video tours for just about every property, following in-person touring directions by the City of Berkeley and the State of California. Our marketing team is doing their best to provide a full 360* tour of the property so prospective residents are able to continue securing their housing for the upcoming 2021-2022 academic year as seamlessly as possible. Online tour scheduling is also available. We are happy to answer any questions you may have.
