What Our
Residents Say

"I didn't know what a boarding house was when I came to Berkeley but I don't know if I could see myself anywhere else. Plus, the housekeeping is pretty awesome. I just wished they cleaned my bedroom. =)"

Jessica B.

"If I had only known this was available when I was a freshman. It's new, clean, has great amenities, a fully stocked kitchen and the people are awesome here."

Nick C.

"Being a transfer student, living at the Prospect was great because I wouldn't have met some of my closest friends if I had lived in an apartment by myself. Looking back, I was happy to have made this decision."

Samantha A.

"It goes without saying, if you have seen the photos, it's a gorgeous home. There is multiple study areas, patios, dining options and appliances throughout to make you as comfortable as possible. My room was better than I could have ever imagined, though be aware that rooms are small. Staff and management was always timely with responses, kind, and went the extra mile to make sure I understood any questions or concerns they addressed."

H. N.

"I really enjoyed my time at Prospect. The Community Manager's were super friendly and helpful. The amenities are really quite nice - the building has been completely renovated, the furnishings are all new, the Kitchen is GORGEOUS, there is plenty of outdoor space (Main Floor patio, Second Floor patio & Rooftop Deck with views of the Bay). There are games in the lounge area, and it's literally right down the street from Cal Stadium."

Chris A.

Prospect was my home for the past two years. I enjoyed getting to know other students by participating in community events (like Friendsgiving Dinner, Super Bowl parties, yoga classes and late night study sessions). It was so nice to not have to clean or restock my own bathroom or buy my own coffee & laundry detergent, among many other things also provided! Management, Housekeeping ladies & Facilities guys were all super friendly and any time I had a concern - they helped me out really quickly. If I hadn't graduated - I'd still be living in!
